2. Double Bass Vending Machine: tenor saxophone

The title "Double Bass Vending Machine" was inspired by a dream I had 11/06/22:

I was in a new house with a new room. There was a vending machine that sold and rented double basses. It was the size of a normal vending machine - couldn't figure out how they all fit. I mashed 386. You could take them out and test them - how trustworthy of the distributer! It provided a detailed history; what the bass was made of, where it was from, the make, etc. I chose a dark silver bass, not knowing that it was iron. It cost 10k. I handled it with care, but it was so heavy that I was scared I was going to drop it. With it in my arms, I was trying to press other numbers to select a new one. The machine failed to recognize the numbers I pushed and instead gave me a display of a plastic replica of the world's smallest trumpet. When I took a closer look inside the machine, I could see there was a jazz fusion bass from the 80's that was the size of an upright. An elevator appears, I tell my mother not to go in and the rest is forgotten.
